The Fundamentals of Professional Cooking Certificate is offered to individuals who are new to the culinary industry and are seeking a better understanding of the essentials of professional cooking. Throughout the program, students learn key cooking methods, preparation skills, nutrition concepts, sanitation procedures, food cost control and management techniques as well as successful job interview strategies.
Sanitation and food safety training is a key part of operating a successful food service establishment. Our superior food safety online courses provide students with the education they need to pursue a variety of food safety credentials through any of the ANSI/Council on Food Protection approved testing companies.
Achieving ACF cook or chef certification status indicates a level of preparedness, education and work experience that is highly valued within the culinary industry. All courses are ACF approved for the continuing education hours required for all levels of initial ACF certification or certification renewal.
